Creating a New Data File
|
To create a new data file, simply tap the "Settings" button on the main SpareBrains
page, and tap "New" under Data. If you have data in SpareBrains already, you
will be prompted whether or not to save it (full version only - demo version does not
save).
By the way, if you don't like the colorful page backgrounds, you can turn them off
by checking "Disable Page Backgrounds" here in the settings dialog.

You will then see an empty page list, ready to add pages and data. Click the
"Add Page" button to add our first page.

Adding a New Page
|
When you click "Add Page" or "Insert Page", you are presented with the "New Page"
dialog. ("Add Page" adds the new page to the end of the list, while "Insert Page"
inserts the new page before the currently selected page in the list.)

Our first page will be a Contact Page for our customer's information, so select "Contact" from the "Page Type"
box, and replace the generic title "Contact" in the "Page Title" box with "John Marks (Customer)".
Tap "OK" to add this page.

Getting to Our New Contact Page
|
Whenever we add a new page, we see it added to the end or inserted into the page list,
depending on what button we used to add it. We can now access the page by tapping
its name in the main page list, or by tapping its tab in the tabs across the top or
bottom. Tap the "John Marks (Customer)" tab to get to that page.

Getting Back to the Main SpareBrains Page
To get back to the main SpareBrains page, tap the "OK" button or scroll
back through the tabs and click on SpareBrains.
